E2T Mint Pool
A multi-chain minting system connecting Ethereum and Bitcoin L1 via TAP Protocol
$E2T (EVM Tap Token) is the first token following TAP Protocol's specifications to be minted through an EVM network, specifically the Ethereum Mainnet. UniTap aims to evolve it into a fully-fledged Bitcoin token standard in the near future.

This is a free mint, you only pay Ethereum network fees to interact with the Mint Pool contract.
A Bitcoin address can only mint $E2T once. You can however mint to several Bitcoin addresses from the same Ethereum wallet.
The Mint Pool needs BTC to function. The Unitap team initially deposited around 0.025 BTC, but contributions are encouraged to help keeping it working. You can transfer directly to the Pool's main Bitcoin address: 1FYB1h1sfXNZsN12cxDGgMg39LGBTajriN.
Be patient. This Mint Pool has a limit of 3 simultaneous Bitcoin wallets creating mint inscriptions. To save BTC, the Pool pauses if network fees exceed 12 sats/vb and resumes once the fees decrease.
E2T is experimental, developed for research purposes and undergoing testing, so technical issues may arise. Use it responsibly.
- The minting process is managed through a smart contract on the Ethereum Mainnet. This contract tracks the token supply and monitors wallet activity to prevent repeated minting.
- The Mint Pool's ICP canister interacts with the EVM smart contract, and controls a Bitcoin wallet. It creates and sends mint inscriptions to respective Bitcoin wallets using TAP Protocol's privilege authority feature.
- You can call the function getAddresses()
from our smart contract to view the live list of Bitcoin wallets participating in the mint.
- Additionally, you can check the BTC addresses tied to our ICP canister to evaluate the Pool's balance: bc1pghrvlzn468w5p3vsxjcdfw55jvnrgfwwup3wq3wppu7hwzsa7v4q2hk79d, bc1phv83val374v7ddlkref8vwj3d4xe0qsngf8j8dfz3y0q9stne7tqffxpg6 and 1FYB1h1sfXNZsN12cxDGgMg39LGBTajriN.
- The TAP Reader or derived tools suchs as Tapalytics provide a comprehensive list of minters, minted amounts, and the remaining minting supply.
